I love South Miami, that's why I'm running
I was born in Coral Gables, Florida and Miami-Dade has always been my home. My wife Seida and I have been 30-year residents of South Miami and we've loved every moment of it. Together, we have three children and four grandchildren. South Miami is our home and that's why I have decided to run for mayor again.
Previously, I served the city as mayor for three-terms, as well as vice mayor and commissioner along with serving on the Environmental Review and Preservation Board (ERPB) of South Miami for a total of 12 years. I feel lucky to have served South Miami for over a decade and know that my experience will prove to be invaluable, if elected again.
When I'm not campaigning, I spend my time as an adjunct professor at a Nursing College and have found teaching to be very fulfilling. I also run my one-man biomedical business which I've managed for nearly 30 years.

Experience matters.
"I am the only candidate that has a proven track record of lowering our taxes. Given the record high 9.1% inflation rate in the last couple of years, we need to do our part to help our residents. I have the experience in cutting out government waste as well as, improving our business district."
